ALISA CLAIRE (Founder, Artistic Director, Choreographer)
is originally from Washington, D.C. and received her degree from Dean College School of Dance in Massachusetts. She has performed the works of Aszure Barton, Ayelen Librona, David Parson, Chung-Fu Chang, and Trebien Pollard. She has trained with Leda Meredith, Frank Augustyn, Sharon Wong, Jill Silverman, Nicholas Seligson-Ross, and Kat Wildish. As a freelance choreographer, Alisa Claire has choreographed for several Shakespeare shows at The American Globe Theater, and has created several pieces for the International Children's Festival, The Rainbow Project in Barbados, W.I., and the Mieko Fuji Contemporary Dance Company in Tokyo, Japan. She has also had the pleasure of being a guest artist at C.A.M.P.. She is also the original choreographer for an ongoing showcase named "Sandy the Dandy and Charlie McGee", a musical.Alisa Claire has taken her life-long training in classical ballet, modern jazz, tap, musical theater, hip hop, and gymnastic and has taken the key aspects of these movement styles, along with the story telling style of musical theater, and has been creating her own style.
BRETT ALAN (Associate Choreographer)
Brett Alan is a native of Jericho, NY. He graduated magna cum laude from Adelphi University with a BFA in Dance. Brett most recently finished a 5-week residency with Lucinda Childs at Bard College performing DANCE at The Fisher Center for the Performing Arts part of Summerscape. DANCE will be touring to Martha's Vineyard, Williams College, University of Florida, The Joyce in NYC and The Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago in the fall of 2009. Brett is currently a member of BODYART Dance Company and Vissi Dance Theater. He has performed works by Donald McKayle, Danny Grossman, Roger Jeffrey, Aszure Barton, David Parsons, Leda Meredith, Tracy Kofford, Sharon Wong, Aylene Liberona, Rebecca Kelly, Chung-Fu Chang, Oliver Daehler, Nick Seligson Ross, Janis Brenner, Trebien Pollard and August Bournonville restaged by Frank Augustyn. Brett has also performed with Hydroflo, Naganuma Dance, Genesis Dance Company, Mary Seidman & Dancers and Flexicurve. He is the choreographer for Double G Productions and guest choreographs for Jericho High School's dance performance, Choreo. Brett is the rehearsal assistant to Leda Meredith for Wong Dance and Stockton College. He has been a scholarship student with Jennifer Muller/The Works since 2007 and teaches at several dance studios throughout Long Island.
BRYCE BERMIGHAM (Stage Combat)
Bryce holds a BFA and an MFA in Musical Theatre and has been based in New York since 2000. National tours: Mungojerrie in Cats (over 5,000 cartwheels), Alter Ego in Their Playing our Song starring Erin Moran. Regional: Rooster in Annie, Sleepy, Sneezy, Bashful and Dopey in the original cast of Disney’s Snow White, Lefou in Beauty and the Beast (x6). As Fight Director Bryce has choreographed 6 productions of Beauty, a tour of Scarlet Pimpernel, Romeo and Juliette (the play twice and the opera once), 3 universities, 4 private schools and a host of theatre companies across North America and the United Kingdom. He is immensely proud to have choreographed the violence for North Shore Music Theatre’s production of The Three Musketeers with music by George Stiles (Mary Poppins). He is a certified fight director with Fight Directors, Canada and one of the principle organizers for the Paddy Crean International Stage combat workshop.
BRIAN COLLIER (Associate Artistic Director)
Brian is currently the Dance Supervisor for the Broadway and US National Tour companies of Mary Poppins. He also understudies/swings 24 ensemble and principal tracks, including the role of Bert, made famous in the movie incarnation by Dick Van Dyke. Other credits include, Broadway: Beauty and the Beast (Doormat, Lefou u/s). National Tours: Cats (Dance Captain). Regional: Cats (Mistoffeles, Mungojerrie, others), Guys and Dolls (Nicely-Nicely Johnson), On the Town (Chip), Sweeney Todd(Tobias), Evita, My Favorite Year, and others.
MAT SANDERS (Writer, Emcee)
Mat is a company member at New York City’s American Globe Theatre. There he has had the pleasure of playing Autolycus in A Winter’s Tale, Trinculo in The Tempest, Dromio of Syracuse in The Comedie of Errours, Launcelot Gobbo in The Merchant of Venice, Flute/Thisby in Midsummer, Peter in Romeo and Juliet. If you are girl between the age of five and twelve, you will remember Mat from his year-long stint as Uncle Gard/Totah the Indian Chief/Runaway Slave in An American Girl’s Revue at The American Girl Place Theater!!! Other credits include Take Flight (concert directed by Richard Matlby Jr.), Amos in Chicago, Argante in Scapino!, and Bud Frump in How to Succeed in Business. He has appeared in National commericials for Wendy’s, Captain Morgan, Mtv and many more. Mat is graduate of the School of Theatre at Florida State University.
