Triple threat — Now 2 weeks!
Located in the spacious facilities of the Reston Community Players Rehearsal Hall, LMproject’s Broadway Bound is designed for teenage performers who are interested in rapidly improving in all the areas needed for today’s top Broadway shows. This workshop also features activities that are designed by our experienced and enthusiastic staff specifically to create well-rounded performing artists. We offer Musical Theater, Dance (jazz, technique class, tap–optional),Voice, Stage Combat, Basic Movement for Beginners, Acting & Improv, and more!
Spend the first week with us, taking dance class, learning proper singing technique, more stage combat, and scene/monologue study. Also included will be a class on proper audition technique, where you will learn HOW to audition, not just what to sing, and mark your self as a true professional.
In the second week, we will still be learning. However, we will be taking the things you learned in the first week, and using them to showcase your talent in a standout showcase performance at the end of the week!
Registration for the LMproject Broadway Bound Summer Intensive is NOW OPEN. Please note that registration is limited due to rehearsal and performance space. Early registration is recommended.

Our daily program will run from 9:00am – 5:00pm. There will be additional programming offered from 8:00am-9:00am and 5:00pm – 6:30pm. Programming will consist of dance and drama games, technical theatre opportunities, movies, and snack (for the afternoon session only).
Every day after lunch we will have a 45 minute educational workshop. We will focus on basic theater knowledge, and performance skills. We will also be holding a workshop on auditioning with Brian Collier, Dance Supervisor for Mary Poppins Broadway Show and National Tour.
Throughout the week, students will participate in basic movement, theater jazz, stretching, hip hop, stage combat, acting and improvisation, and musical theater technique classes. These technique classes provide the dancers a stronger base for continued growth and artistic development.
Dancers will spend two periods each day in workshop classes. These workshop classes will draw from what they are learning and reviewing in their technique classes. The two workshop performance pieces will allow them to rehearse two dance numbers and any other numbers being performed on Friday afternoon for family and friends.
